Modal Effect with Icon Bar

Good Morning All,

I’m using the icon bar to provide links to essential information on a site homepage.
Rather than link to another page, would prefer to have something similar to the Modal effect for these links.

I’ve tried using Columns with an Icon Font and Modal Effect in each column but don’t like the look of this solution. Is there a more elegant way to make this happen?

There’s currently not something like that within Foundry, sorry.
