Making a PDF Interactive

I have created a diagram of a mind map (square boxes representing topics, and lines to represent the links between them) in another program that exports as pdf. I want to import that pdf into my website, then have the ability to make the individual elements on that pdf respond to user input.

For example I would like to be able to show a small window with some explanatory text when a user clicks on a square graphic on the pdf.

Is there any way I can accomplish this?

Thanks for your help.

Not sure it works with PDFs, but you should look at Hotspots Pro - HotSpotsPro | Stacks4Stacks - there’s a free demo version you can try.

There’s also Joe Workman’s Points stack - Points Stack for RapidWeaver
