Feature-question: Gallery

Hi,

I would like the option for the gallery to just display one picture of all the pictures of the gallery. If I click on this picture, the light box opens and I can swipe to all of the pictures in the gallery. This would be a boon for a mobile view.

Thanks

If you need that, check out Gallery Stack and the Single Image Grid option.

Gallery Stack also integrates nicely with Foundry with the Foundry Grid option.

I would love to. But I do not want to see ANY thumbnails or controls/download buttons etc. Just one image, then the lightbox and within the lightbox only the left and right swipe/control indicators. Nothing more.

Is this possible with this stack? In the demo and the manual it looks like I should use the Single Image Grid - lightGallery Lightbox. But the view I need is the one of the Swipebox Lightbox.

Thanks

Jan

Jan: Here’s an example:

It’s just a test page where I’m fooling around. Scroll down to the second gallery: one image only. I think it meets all or most of your criteria.

Let me know.

Great. It looks like the Gallery stack would work nicely for you. In the example I use the Magnific Popup option for Lightbox, but I think a couple other Lightbox styles will also work for your purposes.
